version 6.1

Cobblestone v6.1 integrates automated voice announce, at table player check in/out, and seat rental option that times rentals to the second.

Transient Path has announced the release of version 6.1 of their Cobblestone Casino and Cardroom Management System. The version 6.1 release adds automated voice announce and player check-in and check-out to the in-table electronic plaque module. It also adds the rental of seats in jurisdictions where rake is not allowed. Transient Path has also updated the Banking, Patron, Reporting and Admin modules.

Transient Path continues to listen to their customers and uses their input to upgrade the Cobblestone software to meet their needs. But we also are poker players too and know some of the things we dislike about the poker/cardroom experience. One of those dislikes is having dealers yelling for seat open or fills or service. So that is why we added the automated voice announce system to Cobblestone 6.1. Automated announce works in conjunction with our Electronic Plaque module to reduce the yelling and to increase the chance that the correct person will hear what service is needed and at what table.  The dealer simply presses the Service button on the plaque and the Cobblestone system will announce, politely, through the PA system that ‘Service is required at table 3’. These announcements can also be used request Floor, Host, and High-Hands. The announcements can be set to be read a certain number of times and every so many minutes. As soon as the message is cleared the announcements stops and a report is updated to show how long it took to take care of the request.

Cobblestone 6.1 also adds the ability to check players into a specific table either through the use of barcoded, RFID enabled or magstriped player’s card. This is a good solution for locations that might not need seat level tracking but do want the ability to track player’s time at a table for a specific type of game. Since Cobblestone can set comp earnings, the system can reward players different points depending on the level or type of game they are playing. Meaning, a player that is playing $1-$3 No Limit might earn .50/hour while someone playing $10/$20 might earn $1/hour.

Being able to check players into a table also allows the tracking of time spent renting a seat in jurisdictions that don’t allow raked games. This seat rental tracking will calculate the time spent and report anyone who’s account does not have enough money to cover the time they have played. The player can purchase more time and it would be added to their time balance allowing them to continue playing.

Transient Path, LLC designs, develops, and supports desktop and point of activity mobile solutions for guest, patron, and employee services. The Cobblestone Casino Management solution, is the first completely mobile, browser based, RFID enabled poker and table game management solution. It is the only system that takes the dealer out of player tracking and allows them to get back to dealing. We “Let the players play and the dealers deal.
